Have no fear! punkrockjosh is here!

newest member to the team and i plan on bringing loads of video game blogs to your nerdy mind. more than your brain has room for! i’ve been gaming since i was four when my parents made the biggest mistake in their lives… purchasing me that brand spankin’ new Super Nintendo! boy i tell ya… i played on these things in every store that had a display. you’d best believe that toys r us was my favorite place to go back in the day when they featured Super Mario World on every game tv there. and once i watched another kid play and learned that Super Mario could fly with a cape! oh man, it was over. put me to bed mama! i’m dreaming of nintendo tonight!!

and now look at us, video games have revolutionized the way people think, entertain themselves, “behave” etc. etc.

yeah, you remember when they blamed our violent behavior on mortal kombat? nah, we were just getting older filled with angst! although, i will admit one time i hit my brother in the face with a plastic pot water holder that was somewhat shaped like a frisbee because we were outside and he was liu kang and i was kung lao… i won. totally.

and here we are now, with all kinds of systems at our disposal! the nintendo wii, the xbox 360, the playstation 3. all the way down to the handheld nintendo ds, and playstation portable.

man, times have been a’changin.

but anyways, that’s me. punkrockjosh. i rock, i roll, i game. growing up on nintendo may have made me a “fanboy” but trust me, i spend most of my time these days wrecking on guitar hero and grand theft auto 4. and who could forget halo 3. ah yes. good times.
